The Croí na Gaillimhe 'Christmas Dinner and Party' took place on Wednesday 15th of December. A delicious Christmas themed dinner was cooked by COPE Galway and readily enjoyed by all. After the dinner, a special guest put in a surprise appearance! Santa Clause arrived to ensure that everyone had behaved themselves throughout the year and was on hand to distribute some lovely presents to those present. Ably assisted by some of his elves, Santa then held a raffle and gave away some more Christmas gifts. Our musicians, John and Bill then provided plenty of lively music so everyone could dance the afternoon away!

The weather has been incredibly cold recently and it looks as though the cold spell will continue for a while longer. Croí na Gaillimhe's popular knitting is knitting their way through the best freeze.
Beginner or expert there is room for everyone in our club, just pop along on Tuesday afternoons at 2.30pm.
By the way: there's no cost to join the club just a small contribution to tea / coffee.
