The very successful Banúlacht course, ‘Looking at the Economy Through the Eyes of Women’
returns to Croí na Gaillimhe for a second run during Spring of 2012. Originally run here in 2010, the course proved highly popular and the aim of the course was to explore the role of women in the economy, with a particular emphasis on the care economy. A topic that is of great current relevance and importance.
The programme will take place over the course of 4 Fridays throughout February and March. Foccussing on the topics of
- Women, care and the economy
- Economic growth and wellbeing
- Going global: introduction to two sides of globalisation - consumers and producers
- Women’s economic human rights
